New Year VAT increase

Just a small note to customers that regrettably our prices will have to reflect the forthcoming increase in VAT. Any estimates issued in 2010 will become invalid on Tuesday January 4th. If you so require, please get in contact and we would be more than happy to send you an amended estimate.

Back on track

After some truly terrible weather, we have now completed our latest landscaping work.
Raised beds and a patio extension for a family in Leicester Forest East should make their home-grown veg get off to a flying start. Also we undertook the trimming and leveling of the surrounding conifer hedge, turfing over an old bed and barking of their front borders.

Tree planting complete

We have now completed the 30,000 tree contract for Sunrise Poultry Farms of Sileby, helping them to further their ongoing free-range expansion program.

The planting scheme consisted of mixed native woodland planted in large areas with 10% open space, and grouped plantings closer to the sheds. Also were larger fast growing species (Poplar and Willow) planted within the groups to give fast cover for the birds to seek shelter under. These were planted using a hole-borer.

Species Planted include:
Oak, Ash, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Field Maple, Silver Birch, Dogwood, Hazel, Spindle, Scots Pine, Rowan, Guelder Rose, Poplar and Willow.
